Signesty is a digital signage platform that enables businesses and organisations to manage screens, upload media, create playlists, schedule content, and remotely deliver digital signage content to connected devices.
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Signesty is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy unless another organisation, such as your employer, customer, or account owner, determines how that information is processed.

When you create, access, or use a Signesty account, we may collect:

Payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Signesty does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.

This content is stored and processed so it can be managed through the Signesty dashboard and delivered to your connected screens.

5. Android TV and Google TV application
When the Signesty Android TV or Google TV application is installed and paired with a Signesty workspace, we may process:

- Playback status.
- Content synchronisation status.

We use this information to pair the device with the correct Signesty workspace, authenticate the device, deliver assigned digital signage content, maintain playback, synchronise schedules, monitor service reliability, and diagnose technical problems.
The Android TV application does not:
- Collect complete payment-card details.
- Use personal information for third-party behavioural advertising.
- Sell personal information to advertisers.

- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts.
- Create and manage organisations, memberships, screens, and devices.
- Pair connected devices with Signesty workspaces.
- Upload, store, process, and deliver digital signage content.
- Create and operate playlists, layouts, zones, and schedules.
- Maintain screen playback and content synchronisation.
- Process subscriptions, billing, and payments.
- Provide customer service and technical support.
- Send account-related and service-related communications.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and usability of Signesty.
- Monitor and diagnose errors, crashes, and technical issues.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, and security incidents.

7. Legal bases for processing

8. Uploaded content and customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the images, videos, PDFs, documents, menus, text, and other content uploaded to or displayed through Signesty.
You must ensure that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and lawful grounds to upload, process, and display that content. You must not use Signesty to upload or display unlawful, infringing, harmful, or unauthorised content.
Where Signesty processes personal information contained in customer-uploaded content on behalf of an organisation, that organisation may be the data controller and Signesty may act as a service provider or data processor.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Signesty may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Keep users signed in.
- Maintain secure sessions.
- Remember user preferences.
- Protect accounts and prevent abuse.

Signesty may receive limited information from the payment provider, such as payment confirmation, subscription status, transaction references, card type, and the final digits of a payment card.
Signesty does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.

Customers may use Signesty to display their own advertisements or promotional content on connected screens. Signesty does not determine the content of those customer-created campaigns.

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate legal and contractual safeguards for international transfers of personal information, including recognised data-transfer agreements and other safeguards permitted by applicable law.
14. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Account information, organisation information, and uploaded content are normally retained while the relevant account or organisation remains active.
When an account or organisation is deleted, associated personal information and uploaded content will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where continued retention is required for:

- Fraud prevention.
- Security investigations.

- Enforcement of contractual rights.

Deleting an account may result in the deletion of:

- Organisation membership information.
- Connected screen and device records.
- Playlists and schedules.
- Uploaded images, videos, PDFs, and other media.
- Associated application and playback configuration.
Some information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Organisation members may not be authorised to delete an entire organisation. Organisation-level deletion requests may need to be submitted by an account owner or authorised administrator.
16. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include:
- Encryption of data in transit.
- Access controls and authentication.
- Role-based account permissions.

No online service, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.
